NEWARK AREA 4 BAYLANDS

Over 40 prominent San Francisco Bay scientists have released a joint statement calling for the permanent protection of the Newark Area 4 Baylands, describing the at-risk lands in Newark as “simply one of the most important, unprotected wetland ecosystems remaining, and one of the region’s best opportunities to employ nature-based solutions to combat climate change and ensure a resilient Bay Area.”
